MEPS-  is the Minimum Energy Performance Standard, it is a mandatory energy performance and rating labelling for products using grid connected electric energy.

For products using both, electrical energy and mains connected water, the labels may be combined with the water savings rating information from the WELS program.

The MEPS standard does also identify exclusions and shows the areas which are outside the scope of the current standard.
