WELS-  is the Water Efficiency Labelling and Standards,  it is a mandatory water usage rating for products connected to the mains water supply.

It is a rating program for products identified in national standard(s), however it does not cover the New Zealand market at this point in time.

Labels may be combined with products using also grid connected electrical energy.
